Why do I ‘sit’?

We may ask ourselves this question, and we may not yet know clearly why we ‘sit’. Yet, if we can bring a clear intention into our practice of sitting, and ‘sit’ with regularity abiding with that intent, the ‘fruit’ of our discipline will eventually manifest itself and transcend into our everyday living.
