Mindfully Me, ‘Generosity’

To give is an act of kindness. It is something we should work on doing all year long… and something we should actively encourage in one another- the values of giving, helping, and sharing.
Acts of generosity tend to be contagious especially in families, organizations, and communities that openly talk with one another about them. They are “feel good” moments that inspire our natural “goodness”.
Make personal connections, and give to others with care & compassion. Give another your time, attention, and energy as if it really mattered, because in many cases, it really does make a difference. Our presence is sometimes the greatest gift we could give to another.
When you can, get involved and volunteer in your neighborhood or community. You might help out a local youth center, school, or church.
Learn to become part of something larger than yourself…
