Born of selfless generosity… ‘May all beings be happy.’ A heart filled with lovingkindness does not seek self-benefit. There is an unconditional attitude of friendliness and goodwill toward others. A purity of heart… ‘to do no harm’… in the caring service of others… and with no distinction of ‘others’ as all beings are embraced.
