embrace your way back ‘home’…
This life is precious and fleeting so it may be in our best interest to PAY ATTENTION… moment by moment… as best we can.
This ‘distance’ or ‘space’ we call it in practice can help us to better observe and control our impulses toward our thoughts & feelings.
Reaching deep within ourselves and trusting things are okay even when they’re not. ‘Attitude’ may not change our circumstances, but it has the inherent power to transform the way we perceive and relate to them. Circumstances may be painful, but they will eventually come to pass as all change is inevitable. We are all so much […]
In between ‘stimulus’ and ‘response’ we simply practice observing with clear intention ‘to know’ the object of our observation without judgment, and with full presence of being. Observing ‘to know’ in this manner helps us to interrupt our typically conditioned responses, and to make more discerning and appropriate choices in the way we ultimately respond.
The truth is… ‘suffering’ cannot break us without our permission.
When reflection shifts into rumination, it may be time to simply get up and go do something… anything.
