What’s enough? Can we discerningly set our own limits and live with them? More often than not, we are overextended and overwhelmed by trying to accomplish unrealistic goals over unrealistic time frames- all to do more for more.
Something to consider is the value of your practice for you. Is it helpful? Have you noticed positive and healthy changes in self-awareness and in emotional regulation? Are you more responsive and less reactive? Are you more compassionate and understanding?
“Respectful of our elders and kind to our juniors”… How simple in sentiment yet challenging in action.
The courage to make the ‘shift’… turning over our own habit to be fearful and discovering the bloom of ‘love’ it protects. Without ‘fear’ there is only the ‘goodness’ of heart driving our intention of mind.
We are drawn by what we attend, but not defined when we are distanced.
