Awakening
Saturday, October 11th, 2014The fear grows from the uncertainty- not knowing our ‘place’ or the outcome of this moment.
The fear grows from the uncertainty- not knowing our ‘place’ or the outcome of this moment.
‘Awakening’ may be the painful realization that we have wandered away from what we truly value in our lives.
In our practice, we are not quieting our busy and distracted minds rather we are reconnecting with the quiet and stillness that is already within us.
Practice makes better practice when we can simply let go of the expectation for it to be something that it is not.
Our unsettling thoughts may not stop, but we can stop being held hostage by them.
This restless energy of inadequacy- of wanting more tends to separate us from the present moment and from our own being.
