Awakening

Can I skillfully sense ‘me’, ‘you’, and our larger scope of existence together as one collective and shared humanity?
At the ‘heart’ of who we are is the ‘service’ we give to ourselves and to one another.
We cannot change our past, but we can change our relationship to it.
It can be a challenge for us to live and embody the ‘natural goodness’ that is gifted to us all.
What ‘corrupts’ us is our own thinking…
What we may be missing is the insight of the experience we are trying to change…
What may separate us is dwarfed in comparison to what truly unites us. Some day we may stop trivializing the real ‘stuff’ that makes us all human.
Goals motivate us, but are we passionate enough to ‘stay the course’ when what we seek cannot be quickly met?
The ‘ordinary’ things in life can quickly become ‘extraordinary’ when we are unable to experience them in the same way. Gratitude helps us to remember a healthy life’s gifts.
Mindfulness is a ‘direct contact’ discipline… with our thoughts, feelings, and bodily sensations.
