Awakening

“He or she appeared to have it all.” What does that really mean? By what ‘measure’ does one truly have it all?
‘Perspective’… moving forward we are open to our ‘experience’ being our teacher- an opportunity to see what we may have been ignoring or simply need to know.
A singular focus… creating space within the field of awareness… relaxed concentration… a sense of ease & self-control as the mental ‘chatter’ & ‘clutter’ begins to slow & clear.
Change the mind and transform the person…
On the other side of our preoccupation with the activities of mind… there is REALITY.
Want to slow things down… then consider turning off the ‘auto pilot’ and pay closer attention to the precious and fleeting moments passing you by.
In our practice, we balance our effort of focused attention with the expansion of awareness.
Relax and focus… and when the mind wanders… we remember to gently refocus again and again. This is the ‘practice’.
Remember to notice- to shift and to refocus to what is happening in this moment- here & now.
Awareness helps us to bring in the information and insight we may need to appropriately assess our situations and to ultimately make better choices.
