The ‘cushion’ and the room in which we sit may seem so small yet the life lessons, the realizations and understandings that arise from our daily ‘sitting’, can be pretty big.
‘meditative moments’ is bringing awareness into the here & now- intentionally, purposefully, openly, and discerningly.
We are conditioned to chase and indulge our thoughts and feelings only to discover their impermanence to sustain themselves.
STRESS REDUCTION… by paying closer ATTENTION to how we THINK & FEEL.
‘Awakening’… is looking ‘inside’ ourselves with compassion, without judgment, and with the honest intention to come to know who we truly are…
In our practice… every time we notice our mind wandering and we gently lead it back, we strengthen the mindfulness muscle.
We can still make peace with what we may not overcome.
The insight we garner from yesterday’s ‘bad day’ can be the seed to transform this day into a ‘good day’…
Kindness and compassion starts with taking ‘GOOD CARE’ of yourself.
