Awakening

We often ‘sit’ not to change our mind, but to awaken our awareness of it…
Observing (non-judgmentally) has a way of transforming our relationship to what we observe… by how we observe.
It’s not our differences that are the problem. It’s our judgments toward those differences.
Having the right attitude helps to foster the atmosphere we need to sustain our practice for awareness & well-being.
We give energy to deep healing in our lives when we are able to embrace things as they are…
With mindfulness practice, we awaken one precious moment at a time. It’s the small investments of time, space, and attention that ultimately provide a healthy “RETURN”.
The ‘art of awakening’ is also the ‘art of noticing’ over & over gain, the nature of our busy & wandering mind.
Observing an ‘object’ both curiously and contemplatively as if for the first time… this is the ‘beginner’s mind‘.
Our mind may shape the architecture of our brain yet AWARENESS may regulate how the mind perceives the information it receives.
Mindful ‘check-ins’ can be a routine that tunes in awareness to our thoughts, emotions, and sensations- a form of self-care that has the power to transform how we think, feel, and perceive.
