Mindfulness is our relaxed perseverance in reminding ourselves to be aware.
Inquiry and intent bring relief.
Don’t take the quality of your mind so personally. It’s a temporary state.
It’s not the content of our minds that’s the problem. It’s in the way we attend to the content.
Effort is not enough to endure and to be resilient. It takes wisdom and understanding to stay with life’s challenges.
We explore and examine our minds for insight to cultivate wisdom- to understand, to see clearly, and to know.
You can simply change your stream of thought- your state of mind- by attending to your breath.
The spaciousness of our awareness can give rise to a natural disidentification with our inner turmoil.
Why do we endlessly seek what is outside of ourselves and dismiss the longings of our hearts?
