We may experience a deep sense of peace and serenity as we become quiet and calm in the ‘space’ of silence and stillness. We may become more relaxed and focused in our concentration without the disturbance of ‘mental chatter’ to distract us. In silence, we pay closer attention to what is happening in and around us… and to what we are thinking, feeling, sensing, and doing.
