‘Grit.’

Cultivated with experience, this is a firmness of mind and spirit. It’s unyielding courage in the face of hardship or danger- an inherent capacity to persist despite experiencing difficulty, setbacks, failure and fear. When we ‘fall’, we simply get back up and start again… and again. It’s an unwavering intent deeply motivated by passion and perseverance to prevail over the long-term in the context of a ‘larger picture’ perspective.

What challenges us can makes our ‘foundation’ stronger and more resilient- our efforts more masterful and productive. The mistakes we make are openly received and embraced as the seeds to our success, and adversities as the roots of our strength and happiness.
