‘Cue in Mindfulness…’

by meditative - December 5th, 2015

Knowing what we are doing while we are doing it are moments of ‘nowness’. Stepping out of our mind and into awareness, we are intentional… turning off our autopilot and stopping to fully take in what’s going on within us or around us. We may ‘cue’ in moments of mindfulness in a variety of different ways throughout our day. For example, a bell or chime on the hour, a meal, a red light or stop sign, a line in the grocery store, etc. This ‘cue’ can be anything in our environment that reminds us to step back and take pause… to really take notice with the fullness of our attention… and to simply focus our attention on the present moment.
